"1. to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of st thomas's ward, dudley and its surrounding area, in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. this being done without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race disability or of political, religious or other opinions.2. to relive poverty in the socially and economically disadvantaged community of st thomas's ward, dudley and its surrounding area.3. to provide community buildings (hereinafter called ""the centre"") and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or some other person or body) in furtherance of theses objects"
