Objects:
(a) to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the thorpe edge neighbourhood of bradford, without distinction of political opinion, age, sex, race, colour, ethnic or national origins, marital status, religion, sexual orientation or disability, by associating local authorities, other voluntary organisations and residents of the area in a common effort to advance education, to relieve poverty, ill-health and old age, and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the quality of life for the said inhabitants;(b) to establish a community centre and to maintain and manage the centre (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of the above objects.
