to advance the education of the pupils attending the school by co-operating with the governing body in improving the facilities for education at the school and as ancillary thereto and in furtherance only of this object the friends shall at their discretion:-a) encourage, foster and support by all means within their power such improvements as the governing body may consider to be for the benefit of the school and the pupils thereat.b) administer such funds or property as have been or may in the future be donated, bequeathed or entrusted to them for the benefit of the school.c) through the council, exercise the functions given to them in relation to the endowment fund by the trust deed dated 10 february 1966
