to relieve poverty and advance education amongst homeless families in brent (including those placed in brent by other boroughs) and families originating from brent but placed elsewhere temporarily by the london borough of brent. these objects shall be achieved by the following means:a. establishing and developing in the london borough of brent a centre for homeless families;b. providing a focus for families to meet others, exchange experiences and present a collective voice on issues of common concern;c. providing practical facilities and activities, including a laundry, cooking and children's play areas, a homework club and leisure activities;d. providing information and advice on health housing welfare benefits and other appropriate subject matters;e. developing skills of users;f. involving families in the planning and running of the centre and its services within a framework which values diversity and promotes equal opportunities;g. providing such services both in the centre and on an outreach basis:
