1) A SUM NOT EXCEEDING ú30,000 TO BE USED FOR THE REFURBISHMENT OF THE CHURCH HALL AT UNION STREET WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING AND EXTENDING ITS COMMUNITY FACILITIES.2) THE RESIDUE OF THE FUNDS HELD BY THE CHARITY, INCLUDING ANY PROCEEDS OF SALE FROM THE LAND DESCRIBED IN THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME, SHALL BE USED FOR EITHER OR BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES:A) AS A FUND FOR THE PURCHASE OF OR TO ACQUIRE A SHARE IN A MANSE AS THE RESIDENCE OF A MINISTER SERVING THE UNION STREET UNITED REFORMED CHURCH OR THE CHURCH AND ANY OTHER GROUP OF CHURCHES WITHIN THE DENOMINATION.B) IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF LOWERFIELDS OLDHAM WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION.
