the objects for which the charity is established are: i) to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities from african and other minority groups in the uk and africa, including refugees and asylum seekers, in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society. ii) the relief of poverty, sickness and distress particularly amongst communities suffering as a result of aids, disabilities, war and forced migration throughout the uk and overseas. iii) the advancement of education in such ways and in such parts of the world as the trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit. iv) the provision or assistance in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the benefit of such persons who are need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances.
