"the partnership's objects are: a) to promote, support and encourage any charitable purposes for the protection of health and improvement of social, cultural, economic, educational and environmental wellbeing of the halesworth and blyth valley area ""the area"" in order to enhance the quality of life, civic pride and public participation of present and future generations. b) to work with partners and relative organisations to promote a wide range of employment opportunities and to ensure that a diverse retail sector is achieved and maintained in the area. c) to promote tourism, cultural exchange and opportunities for vocational and recreational purposes for all age groups and abilities. d) to work with partners to improve the integrated transport system and to develop more effective public safety initiatives. e) to promote the protection and enhancement of the natural and built environment and to ensure high standards of planning and architecture. provided that in carrying out these charitable purposes, the partnership will seek to challenge all forms of oppression and inequality and to give priority to working with people whose full participation in society is limited by economic, political and social disadvantage."
