Objects:
3.1 to relieve members of the trade and/or dependants of members of the trade who are in necessitous circumstances, by providing (after proper investigation of each case) residential facilities, educational or training grants, grants for funeral expenses and grants generally;3.2 to make grants (whether by way of donation or periodical subscription) to any charitable organisation having objects similar to those of the charity for the general purposes of such organisation for the purpose of procuring accommodation, nursing or medical attention for or maintenance of any such person or persons as aforesaid to whom it has been resolved to grant relief or for the purpose of providing, or maintaining or assisting to provide or maintain, approved homes in which the charity has or will in consideration of the grant have the right to nominate any such person or persons as aforesaid a resident or residents
