"for the relief or benefit of inmates of whicher and kiffird almshouses. almshouses for poor men and women of good character almshouses for poor men or women of good character the almspeople shall be poor persons of good character who profess the christian faith and who (except in special cases to be approved by the commissioners) are resident in the area of benefit, preference being given to those persons qualified as aforesaid who are between the ages of 60 and 75 years see individual constituents (1) the relief of the aged poor and in particular, but without prejudice to the generality of the forgoing, by the provision of housing and associated amenities; and(2) such other charitable purposes as the trustees (as defined in the articles of association of the company) shall from time to time decide. (a) the provision of housing accommodation for beneficiaries (""beneficiaries"" means women in need who are 50 years old and over); (b) such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents (""residents"" means those beneficiaries of the charity who live in the homes) as the trustees decide."
