such charitable purposes and in such manner and in such proportion as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit to include:- 1. gifts to the relief of poverty 2. gifts to further education and maintenance of children and young people under the age of 25 3. gifts to charities providing facilities in the parish for the general benefit of the inhabitants 4. gifts to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of winterbourne parish and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex sexual orientation race or of political religious or other opinions, by associating together the local authorities voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for education and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants 5. gifts to establish or to secure the establishment of a community centre and to maintain and manage or to co-operate with any local statutory authority in the maintenance and management of such a centre for activities promoted by them in furtherance of the above objects
