a) to alleviate the suffering and promote the relief and care of children and young persons afflicted with terminal or chronic illness by:-i) the establishment maintenance and conduct of a residential hospice and day care centre for the reception and care of children and young persons who are suffering from any chronic or terminal illness or from disability or disease especially but not exclusively the disease of cancerii) the provision of equipment and facilities at such residential hospice and /or day care centre for the treatment of such children and young personsiii) the advancement of public education in the medical care of terminally or chronically ill children and young personsiv) to conduct promote and encourage research into care and treatment of children suffering from cancerb) generally for such charitable purposes or objects which are from time to time recognised as exclusively charitable according to the law of england and wales as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit
