to promote the benefit of the public in the st charles ward and the north kensington area ,without distinction of race, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs or otheropinions by associating the public, voluntary and private sector organisations and residents in acommon effort:1) to provide or improve facilities for community, social, recreational, sporting and otherleisure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving theconditions of life of inhabitants in the area of benefit and in adjoining local authority areas (including the protection and improvement of their health);2) to advance education for the public and to provide or help to provide opportunities foreducation, training, work experience and access to employment or self employment andto advice services, particularly among unemployed people and people suffering financialhardship or social exclusion;3) to develop the capacity and skills of members of socially disadvantaged communitieswithin the area of benefit in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meettheir needs and participate more fully in society;4) to promote the improvement of the physical and natural environment and access to openspace for the benefit of the public;5) to undertake other charitable activities as are for the general benefit of the public in thearea of benefit.
