to advance the education and research in collaborative working between health care practitioners and patients to assess the quality of clinical practice guidelines and to develop, disseminate, implement and evaluate the useful results of such research for the benefit of the public, with particular reference to the appraisal of guidelines for research and evaluation instrument.
