for such purposes conducive to the advancement of education of the public in all matters pertaining to trees shrubs and flowers as shall form time to time be charitable and as the trustees shall from time to time in their absolute discretion decide and in furtherance of such purposes (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) in establishing maintaining and improving at barns green aforesaid an arboretum in memory of the late daughter of the first trustee namely julia fairbanks-smith and her late daughter emma fairbanks-smith at which the study of trees shrubs and flowers can be carried out and which simultaneously would be of great benefit to the community as a facility to be enjoyed by people of all ages
