a. to advance the education of the public and in particular peoples of african origins by providing training and courses, and any such ways as the association through its executive committee, from time to time, may determine so that the beneficiaries of the association may be more confident in their future.b. relieve poverty, hardship, distress and restore confidence for asylum-seekers and refugees, from africa, mainly christians, who have been victims of ethnic, religious and political problems in their respective homeland, and who, owing to and under the protection of the british government, are trying to restore a vision in order to rebuild in a substantial way their past destroyed life, whilst integrating the british society.c. to advance the education of the public on issues arising from discrimination against people in the community, such discrimination being on grounds of colour, race, nationality or other ethnic or national origins.d. to promote the principle of equality of opportunity, diversity and good relations between persons of different racial groups so that the beneficiaries of the association in particular and the public in general are able to realise their full potential in any undertaking.e. advance education of its members in order to help them with their intellectual, cultural and social development within the british societyf. help members to restore and consolidate their lost personal confidence so that they make a positive contribution within the british economy.g. benefit the asylum-seekers and refugees without distinction of sex, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said people and the local authorities, voluntary and other organizations in a common effort to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation, such as sport, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said people;h. promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determinedthe association shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion.
