(a) to advance the education of young people living in the birmingham and west midlands area (the area of benefit) and particularly those from bangladeshi and pakistani backgrounds, who are socially excluded or at risk of exclusion so that they are better able to integrate into society, develop their employment opportunities and to realise their full potential within their community and society as a whole. (b) to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of the area of benefit who are in need of such facilities by reason of their youth infirmity, disability, poverty or social and economic circumstances in the interests of social welfare with the objects of improving their conditions of life..
