3. the promotion for the public benefit in particular in brinnington in greater manchester (the area of benefit) and its environs, in particular by associating local community organisations in a common effort to advance education, to relive poverty, need and hardship, to provide facilities for leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare, and to conserve and improve the environment by all or any of the following means:-a) to provide premises and facilities for the use of inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.b) to establish, or secure the establishment of, a community centre and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects.c) the relief of unemployment in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment.d) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people, and providing unemployed people with work experience;e) the provision of financial assistance , technical assistance, or business advice or the provision of consultancy in order to provide training and employment opportunities for unemployed people in cases of financial or other charitable need through help:-i) in setting up their own business, orii) to existing businesses;f) the creation of training or employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings and/or land for use on favourable terms.
