the promotion for the public benefit of urban and rural regeneration in areas of social and economic depravation (and in particular) allenheads, sparty lea and sinderhope in northumberland, by all or any of the following means: 1. the relief of poverty; 2. the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities; 3. the preservation of building or sites of historic or architectural importance; 4. the provision of recreational facilities for the public at large or those who by reason of their youth, age or infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances, have need of such facilities; 5. the protection and conservation of the environment; 6. such other means as may from time to time be determined subject to the prior written consent of the charity commissioners for england and wales; and 7. the support and preservation of the heritage of allenheads, sparty lea and sinderhope in northumberland and the surrounding areas in particular by promoting the preservation and appreciation of the same area and disseminating educational and historical information on its social and economic importance to the development of the whole community.
