the object of the charity is to promote the physical and mental health of those residents of the london boroughs of south london, particularly by providing:(a) a garden where horticulture is used for therapy and rehabilitation; (b) opportunities for training for work and education; (c) opportunities for artistic and creative expression; and(d) the protection and preservation of the environment for the benefit of the public by the conservation or promotion of biological diversity through : (i) the provision, conservation, restoration or enhancement of the natural habitat in sydenham garden, the de frene site or any other garden the charity may own or manage; or (ii) the maintenance or recovery of a species in its natural habitat in sydenham garden, the de frene site or any other garden the charity may own or manage.
