The objects of the Charity are to promote education, in particular through the provision of a school with a Christian ethos in Caterham for the education of the Children of Ministers and other young people. to provide and maintain a school to educate the children of ministers and other young persons, to provide scholarships exhibitions and bursaries for such children and young persons, and to assist schools with a similar christian ethos. to provide bursaries for the education of sons and daughters of ministers of the united reformed church and of sons and daughters of ministers of any church in england or wales being a body of persons organised according to the principles and usages of the congregational denomination for the purpose of worship, communion and fellowship at the school, and to pay all or any part of the school fees or disbursements including boarding fees and travelling expenses and other costs relating to the education of sons and daughters of ministers of the united reformed church and of sons and daughters of ministers of any church in england or wales being a body of persons organised according to the principles and usages of the congregational denomination for the purpose of worship, communion and fellowship at the school. the object of the charity is to further the education of pupils entering attending, or who have attended the school by:(1) the award of prizes (or suitable reward), grants or scholarships to pupils entering or attending the school; and(2) the payment of leaving grants (which may take the form of scholarships, exhibitions or bursaries) to pupils leaving the school and continuing their education, and financial assistance to aid former pupils to continue their education;(3) providing financial support for the purchase of books to the school, including the library; and(4) the award of prizes (or suitable reward), grants or scholarships to pupils attending or who have attended the school and who show or have shown outstanding competence in musical and/or vocational study. to provide bursaries and maintenance allowances for pupils at caterham school.
