to advance education by the provision of a day and boarding school for girls and boys in particular in or near the ancient parish of giggleswick and by ancillary or incidental educational activities and other associated activities for the benefit of the community. to advance education by the provision of a day and boarding school for girls and boys in particular in or near the ancient parish of giggleswick and by ancillary or incidental educational activities and other associated activities for the benefit of the community to provide a prize for service to the combined cadet force awarding scholarships tenable at giggleswick school to children selected on grounds of merit purchasing books for the library at giggleswick school in or towards the repair of the chapel establishing and maintaining a scholarship or scholarships to be awarded from time to time provision for a woodwork prize establishing and maintaining scholarships to be from time to time awarded to boys or girls of high academic promise wishing to attend the giggleswick school such prospective scholars to be selected as the result of such examination or in such manner as the said governing body shall in its absolute discretion think fit provision of two prizes, one for general proficiency; and one for scripture history a prize for the promotion and encouragement of the study of mathematics for the benefit of the school the provision of a science prize a scholarship fund for students entering either oxford or cambridge universities to provide a prize or prizes to be awarded annually for a poem or essay on some subject of local interest a scholarship fund for the school or promotion of education for pupils attending giggleswick school provision of a history prize provision of an english literature prize a subsidiary endowment to giggleswick school to provide entrance or leaving exhibitions or for any other educational purpose in connection with giggleswick school provision of an annual prize to promote the study of the political racial and social problems of africa income to be used for the general purposes of the foundation of giggleswick school for the provision of an exhibition tenable at a university or place of further education by former pupils of the foundation of giggleswick school provision of a prize income to be utilised in assisting scholars to enter college provision of a prize fund income to be applied for such charitable purpose or purposes according to the laws of england and wales provision of a prize or prizes for the encouragement of the study of the holy scriptures in the school the acquisition of suitable objects d'art for giggleswick school to be placed in various areas of the said school,in display in various areas of the said school,in display cases and in hallways so that the students could view and appreciate the same and the acquisition of items aesthetic value for displaying in the major display area in the centre of the main school building provided always that all such items are acquired solely for their educational value the object of the charity is to further the education of pupils attending or who have attended the school, and who are in financial need, by the provision of bursaries either:(1) to exempt, either wholly or in part, pupils from the payment of tuition and other fees at the school; or(2) to assist with their further or higher education. (1) the object of the charity is to further the education of pupils attending the school by the award of prizes (or other suitable reward).(2) the prizes must be awarded on the recommendation of the head teacher. (1) the object of the charity is to further the education of pupils attending the school by the award of entrance scholarships.(2) the scholarships will exempt pupils wholly or partially from the payment of tuition and other fees. (1) the object of the charity is to further the education of pupils who have attended the school by the award of leaving exhibitions.(2) the exhibitions will be tenable at any place of further or higher education. to combine the investments and moneys belonging to the participating charities in permanent or expendable endowment funds into one pooled fund to combine the investments and moneys belonging to the participating charities in income reserve funds into one pooled fund
