Objects:
"(a) to promote the benefit of the children & young people of broomwood estate as well as the other inhabitants of the neighbourhood defined as broomwood estate without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;(b) to establish, or secure the establishment of, a community resource centre (hereinafter called ""the centre"") and to maintain and manage the same (whether alone or in co-operation with any local authority or other person or body) in furtherance of these objects.(c) the promotion for the public benefit of urban regeneration in the area of social and economic deprivation of broomwood by the following means.(d) the relief of poverty(e) the advancement of education, training or retraining, particularly among unemployed people and the provision of providing unemployed people with work experience.(f) the creation of training and employment opportunities by the provision of workspace, buildings and land for use on favourable terms.(g) the maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities.(h) the provision of recreational facilities for the public at large or those who by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances have need of such facilities.(i) the provision of public health facilities and childcare(j) to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of broomwood in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.(k) promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.the association shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion."
