the charity's objects are:3.1 to advance for the benefit of the public within the county of devoncommunity participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities forplaying cricket and the organising of related sporting activities and theeducation of pupils and students at schools, universities and other educationalestablishments (by ensuring that due attention is given to the systematicphysical education of such young persons as a means of developing theircharacter minds mental co-ordination self-discipline and physical fitness sothat they grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society) throughthe organisation or provision (or assistance in the organisation or provision) offacilities which will encourage and enable such young people to play cricket.3.2 the advance of the physical education of young people and others notundertaking formal education and in the interests of social welfare to organiseor provide (or assist in the organisation or provision of) facilities within suchcounty for physical recreation (with the object of improving the conditions oflife for the persons for whom such facilities are primarily intended) andeither:-a) those persons have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age,infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances orb) the facilities are to be available to the members of the public at large.3.3 to provide and support the provision of facilities for the encouragement ofcricket matches and training facilities within the villages of lynton andlynmouth being within the said county of devon and which are promoted forthe benefit of those communities.3.4 such other objects and purposes in such county being objects and purposeswhich are exclusively charitable in accordance with the law of england andwales.
