to relieve the suffering of any species of animal who are in need of care and attention particularly but not exclusively by the following means:(i) providing and maintaining kennels, catteries, a rescue home or any other facilities for the reception of such animals and treatment of sick, injured, abused or ill treated animals.(ii) assisting with financial cost of veterinary bills where the owner cannot afford to cover the full cost of treatment for their pet. (iii) providing or assisting in the provision of a spaying or neutering service for those whose owners cannot afford the veterinary bill.(iv) providing or assisting in the transport of the public and their pets to veterinary surgeries where the owner has no transport of their own or could not otherwise afford to pay for transport.
