3. objectsthe charity's objects are[1] to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of charities and other non charitable organisations undertaking charitable activities in powys for the benefit of the public in particular those that promote recycling, sustainable development (in particular sustainable waste management) and the conservation protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in particular but not exclusively through: the establishment and operation of a recycling and waste minimisation umbrella group of community and related organisations in powys; and the provision of advice, information, research and providing support (financial or otherwise) for projects that further the objects of the charity;[2] to conserve protect and improve the physical and natural environment in powys in particular by the promotion of sustainable waste management practices in accordance with the best practicable environmental option; and[3] to advance the education of the public in powys in particular in recycling and sustainable waste management.sustainable development means 'development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs'.
