(i) to relieve the distress and suffering of women and children who have suffered or are exposed to domestic violence.(ii) to relieve any women or child in necessitous circumstances who may be (but need not be) temporarily homeless by the provision of temporary accommodation and by the preservation and protection of their mental and physical health in such ways as shall relieve their need by providing services and facilities.(iii) to advance the education of the public in the causes and effects of domestic violence and the prevention thereof, particular by the provision of talks and training courses.
