3.1 to promote the conservation and enhancement of the natural environment and advancement of public education therein with particular reference to deforestation and other effects of the release of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and the encouragement of aforestation.3.2 to educate the public in matters relating to the environment and in particular in relation to the needs to offset the carbon dioxide emissions of industry and individuals by means of tree planting in the united kingdom and worldwide.3.3 to support and carry out research relating to the above and other related issues such as land management and arboricultural practice and to publish or otherwise disseminate the useful results of such research to the public.
