a) to advance the early years education of pre-school children aged 2 years to rising 5 years, living in the metropolitan borough of rochdale, through the provision of safe and satisfying play;b) to raise awareness of the need for early years education for pre-school children regardless of ethnic origin, ability or gender;c) to work in partnership with the local authority and relevant voluntary organisations, to enable the effective fulfilment of the requirements ofsted and the national standards for sessional childcare, as laid down within the 1989 children act (or any statutory re-enactment or modification of that act).d) to advance the education and training of persons involved in the provision of early years education for pre-school children;
