1. to maintain, improve and advance the education of the public in the arts generally and in particular, by the promotion and production of educational dance/drama and other aesthetic arts especially those activities which seek to make the arts relevant to the community;2. to provide performance opportunities for underprivileged young people between the age of 13-19 years irrespective of their colour, sex, religion, creed etc., thus enabling them to seek and obtain useful skills and occupation in later life;3. in the interest of social welfare, to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life of the persons for whom such facilities are primarily intended by reason of their youth, age, infirmity, poverty or social and economic circumstances
