(3.1) to promote and assist the relief of elderly people by assisting the work of statutory authorities and voluntary organisations engaged in providing facilities for physical and mental recreation, developing physical improvement, furthering health, relieving poverty, distress or sickness, or in pursuing any objects which are now or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable;(3.2) to promote and carry out the provision of residential accommodation and care for elderly people in need of such accommodation.
