the relief of sickness amongst people living with ms, their carers, families and friends in the african/caribbean and minority ethnic communities in particular but not exclusively by the following means;(i) raising awareness of ms in the above communities through seminars and training workshops;(ii) providing emotional support and access to counselling;(iii) addressing the isolation of people living with ms;(iv) providing advice and information to people living with ms, their carers, families, friends and relevant organisations;(v) providing a helpline for telephone advice, face to face and website advice;(vi) working in partnership with local, regional and national voluntary and statutory organisation towards supporting all efforts to advance the treatment and research for the investigation and cure of ms;(vii) providing support to people with neurological health conditions outside of ms.
