"1. the trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to apply them for the following object (""the object"") in africa (""the area of benefit""): to promote for the benefit of the public, urban and/or rural development and regeneration in areas of social and economic deprivation in the area of benefit.2. without limiting or constraining the activities to be undertaken in fulfilling the object it is envisaged that the object shall be pursued by:2.1 providing grants to local people to assist in setting up businesses2.2 offering business start-up advice and subsequent mentoring2.3 giving advice, assistance and consultancy to new and established businesses2.4 establishing education, training and work experience programmes, particularly for the unemployed 2.5 providing or improving accommodation for those in need2.6 maintaining, improving or providing public amenities2.7 investing in land for the above uses2.8 organising teams of volunteers to assist with the above."
