"(3.1) the trustees must apply the income of the charity in furthering the following objects (the ""objects"") being charitable purposes for the benefit of the community.(a) the relief of old age, sickness or disability, where there is no financial need;(b) promoting racial harmony;(c) the resettlement and rehabilitation of offenders and drug abusers;(d) providing help for victims of natural or civil disasters;(e) promoting human rights; (f) the provision of recreational facilities which are open to everyone (for example, a sports centre) or which are for particular beneficiary groups such as people with disabilities or the elderly;(g) urban and rural regeneration and community capacity building; and(h) promotion of health (e.g. through education, access to medical facilities or the pursuit of healthy recreation through sport)."
