to make grants to persons who have entered upon and are pursuing or who satisfy the trustees that they propose forthwith to enter upon and pursue a course approved by the trustees of study training or preparation for holy orders in the church of england or for the regular ministry of any other church or religious denominations or for any other vocation or career which in the opinion of her trustees is or will be one of social service or otherwise of special benefit to the community and who in the opinion of the trustees are in need of financial assistance to enable them to continue with and complete such course of study training or preparation with the maximum of advantage to themselves and to their future efficiency and usefulness in their chosen vocation or career
