income to be used for charitable purposes. 1) general purposes of the association. 2) gifts to necessitous accountants clerks or their relatives annual income to be used for benefit of association annuity or annuities to one or more old or decayed chartered accountants benefit of deserving persons connected with the profession but not eligible for benefit under the rules of the association 2.2 (a) relief of poverty and sickness and the preservation of good health of the beneficiaries;(b) such other purposes as are charitable under the laws of england and wales for the benefit of the beneficiaries. to provide scholarships not exceeding thirty pounds per annum for a period of three years for such children or dependents of the past and present members fo the institute as the committee in their sole discretion shall select to receive the same. in making such special grants for educational purposes to children or dependents of past and present members of the institute as the committee in their sole discretion shall think fit; and shall apply the surplus income, if any , towards carrying on the general purposes of the chartered accountants benevolent association or by accumulating the same for future application to any of the purposes aforesaid. 1 the relief of poverty and sickness and the preservation of good health of the beneficiaries;2 such other purposes as are charitable under the laws of england and wales for the benefit of the beneficiaries.
