to advance the education of persons aged 18 or over working in health & social care or its branches including the following:(3.1) to develop the role of organisations within health & social care through the provision of training and education.(3.2) to provide a forum to discuss and explore issues of relevance to health & social care training and education.(3.3) to identify and develop links with organizations committed to anti-discriminatory and anti-racist practice that can offer high quality learning opportunities to students.(3.4) to develop a system for the support and co-ordination of organisations wishing to participate in health & social care education.(3.5) to work in partnership with relevant agencies to provide networking, representation and support for those people working in health and social care.(3.6) to promote and support different models for achieving approval of agencies for training by validating bodies
