(1) to relieve the poverty and promote the benefits of the inhabitants of lancashire and cumbria with particular reference to those in the area known as the west end of morecambe and without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race, or of political, religious or other opinions. the charity will provide services which will relieve, support help and advise those who are poor, the unemployed, elderly, physically or mentally ill or convalescing, people with disability, people who are dependent on alcohol and drugs, victims of abuse, violence or crime and families or carers of people who fall within the above groups.(2) to do all such things as will further the attainment of these objects subject to the proviso that nothing will be done which will or may prevent the objects of the company being deemed to be charitable.
