"3.1.1 to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of aspley and the neighbourhood together defined by the aspley ward boundary as at the date of incorporation (called ""the area of benefit"") without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants;3.1.2 to educate and assist any persons through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities that they may reach their full potential as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved;3.1.3 to promote and develop for the benefit of the individuals living the the area of benefit, education in and appreciation of art, drama cultural and religious appreciation of whatever media;3.1. 4 to promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be beneficial."
