2.2 the trustees shall hold the trust fund and its income upon trust to pay apply or allocate them to or for the benefit of such charity or charities or for such charitable purposes as may be chosen by the trustees and are charitable under the laws of england & wales and in particular for the following purposes: 2.2.1 the relief, support and assistance of people suffering from cancer or cancer-related illnesses or conditions and the provision of support to their relatives and carers;2.2.2 the promotion and advancement of the study and general knowledge of science and medicine relating to the development of oncology;2.2.3 the relief of poverty, sickness and distress and the advancement of education in any part of the world, with particular regard to africa. the trustees must use the income and may use all or part of the capital of the trust in promoting the objects.
