a) to promote the open spaces known as chapeltown & high green parks for recreation, play and other leisure-time occupation for the benefit of all the inhabitants of chapeltown & high green (area of benefit) without distinction of age, creed, disability, religious, political or other opinion, sex or sexual orientation;b) to work with the local authority and voluntary organisations to manage and maintain the parks;c) the protection, conservation and improvement of the environment of both parks;d) the preservation of buildings or sites of historic or architectural importance within the parks;e) the provision, or assistance in the provision, of recreational facilities within the parks;f) the promotion of public safety and prevention of crime in the parks;g) such other means as may from time to time be determined subject to the prior consent of the charity commissioners for england & wales.
