"2.2 the objects are:2.2.1 to educate and train the general public in the united kingdom (including consultants, doctors, nurses, dieticians and other medical support staff) in all matters relating to diabetes and related diseases (""diabetes""), including in particular its causes, symptoms and treatment, research into it, and the problems faced by people who suffer from it;2.2.2 to promote and protect the physical and mental health of persons suffering from diabetes, in particular by providing public screening facilities, equipment and services ;2.2.3 to promote research into diabetes and to publish the useful results of such research; and 2.2.4 to apply the income and the capital of the charity for such other charitable purposes and such registered charities as the trustees in their absolute discretion think fit from time to time (the ""objects"");2.3 the trustees must use the income and may use the capital of the charity in promoting the objectss"
