Objects:

(1) the trustees may spend the income of the charity in the following priority;(a) the promotion of education (including social and physical training) of persons under the age of 25 years, resident in the united kingdom and who are in need of financial assistance (including individual grants and grants to organisations) and with a preference for those who are:(i) former pupils of the stationer's company school, the former school of the charity;(ii) sons and daughters of liverymen and freemen of the company;(iii) persons engaged in or intending to enter the stationer's or printer's trade or any other of the trades which are accepted from time to time by the company for the purpose of admission to the freedom thereof by redemption.in exceptional cases, to be approved by the trustees at a special meeting, the trustees may allocate benefits to a person otherwise qualified (falling into one of the preferred classes as outlined in (i)-(iii) of this clause) who is over the age of 25 years.(b) the relief either generally or individually of men who are or have been engaged in the printing industry and allied trades or in the distributive trades thereof (to include, printers, stationers, journeymen, compositors, pressmen and warehouseman) and the widows of such men, who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. preference shall be given to freemen of the stationers' and newspaper makers' company, in need who are not less than 60 years of age.
