for the public benefit to promote the educational (including social and physical training) opportunities of vulnerable people of all ages in such ways as the trustees think fit, including by: • awarding to such persons scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants tenable at any university, college or institution of higher or further education. • providing their education (including the study of music or other arts), to undertake travel in furtherance of that education or to prepare for entry to any occupation, trade or profession on leaving any educational establishment. • in partnership with other organisations provide training opportunities that enable individuals and group to actively participate in their chosen community. the promotion of community participation in sport, creative arts and other healthy recreational methods for the benefit of all the inhabitants regardless of age, ability or sex by the provision of facilities appropriate to a chosen sport/activity. to develop the knowledge, capacity and skills of the individual and groups of the vulnerable members of society in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society.the promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit by [for example]: (a) the challenging/elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race, gender, disability , sexual orientation or religion; (b) advancing education and raising awareness of the benefits of equality and diversity; (c) promoting activities to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds (cultural, religious, etc); (d) conducting or commissioning research on equality and diversity issues and publishing the results to the public; the prevention or relief of financial hardship anywhere in the world by providing or assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support designed to enable individuals and groups to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. • to prevent or relieve poverty through undertaking and supporting research into factors that contribute to poverty and the most appropriate ways to mitigate these. • to relieve the poverty of young people by the provision of grants to enable them to participate in healthy recreational activities that they could not otherwise afford. to establish or secure the establishment of a community centre(s) and to maintain or manage or co-operate with any statutory/private organisation in the maintenance and management of such a centre(s) for activities promoted by the charity in furtherance of the above objects.
