Objects:
3.1. the trustees shall hold the capital and income of the trust fund upon trust to apply the income, and all or such part or parts of the capital, at such time or times and in such manner to, or for the following objects or any one or more of them as the trustees shall determine:3.1.1 the provision, or assistance in the provision, of courses, lectures and demonstrations for teachers and pupils or students at schools, universities or other educational establishments in the area of benefit;3.1.2 the increase of the public knowledge, understanding and appreciation of any matters of historic, artistic, architectural, aesthetic or scientific interest in the area of benefit;3.1.3 the publication of educational material (whether electronically or otherwise) in the area of benefit;3.1.4 the study and appreciation of any building or site of national, historic, architectural, artistic, aesthetic or scientific interest in the area of benefit and any furniture, pictures, books, manuscripts, porcelain, objets d'art or ordinarily kept therein or of national, historic, architectural, artistic, aesthetic or scientific interest and situated elsewhere in the area of benefit and in particular but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing:3.1.4.1. the making available, or the encouragement of, the provision of access to such buildings, sites or important items;3.1.4.2 the preservation, protection and improvement for the public benefit of such buildings, sites or important items;3.1.4.3 the encouragement of the study of such buildings, sites and important items;3.1.5 the establishment of museums for the benefit of the general public in the area of benefit and the making available, for research and education, of the items contained in the same;3.2 the promotion of research into the causes, effects and treatment of mental or physical disease or illness (including, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the study of the causes, and treatment of addiction or dependency upon drugs of any description, alcohol or other addictive substances) by, in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing), the means described in clauses 3.3.1 and 3.3.2;3.3 the relief of mental or physical disease or illness (including, but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, addiction or dependency upon drugs of any description, alcohol or other addictive substances) in the area of benefit and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in the area of benefit and in particular (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing);3.3.1 the provision of support services, equipment and facilities (including buildings and land);3.3.2 the provision of training (whether medical or otherwise);3.4 notwithstanding the foregoing, such exclusively charitable objects or purposes as the trustees shall from time to time determine.3.5 the trustees may in their discretion, for the period of 21 years from the date of this deed, instead of applying the income of the charity in any year, accumulate all or any part of such income at compound interest by investing the same, and the resulting income, in any authorised investments and hold the same as an accretion to and as part of the capital of the charity, without prejudice to their right to apply the whole or any part of such accumulated income in any subsequent year as if the same were income of the charity arising in the then current year.
