the promotion of any charitable purpose for the benefit of the inhabitants of the 12 srb6 villages: bearpark, bowburn, brandon, cassop, esh winning, kelloe, ludworth, new brancepeth, quarrington hill, sherburn hill, ushaw moor and west rainton within durham city district (hereafter know as the area of benefit) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said inhabitants, the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to provide facilities for recreation, social and economic circumstances, and moral and spiritual welfare.to promote for the benefit of the public, rural regeneration by all or any of the following means, the advancement of education, training or retraining, the preservation and protection of good health, the relief of poverty, the improvement of existing facilities and to develop and improve the physical and social environment in an effort to enhance the condition of life for the inhabitants of the area of benefit. the group shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion
