to relieve financial hardship among children (known to be under eighteen years of age) living in developing countries by providing such persons with pairs of spectacles obtained by either:i) donations of money obtained by fundraising through the charities activities and earmarked for such a purpose,ii) donations of second hand spectacles from donors for refurbishing and distributing as appropriate,which they could not otherwise afford through lack of means.
