Objects:

(1) IN THIS CLAUSE BENEFICIARIESã MEANS PERSONS WHO:(A) ARE OVER THE AGE OF (60); AND (B) ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; AND (C) EITHER (I) ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; OR(II) HAVE AT ANY TIME LIVED IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR AT LEAST FIVE YEARS; OR(III) LIVE OUTSIDE THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND ARE APPOINTED AS BENEFICIARIES UNDER SUB-CLAUSE (5) BELOW IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES. (2) THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE THE ALMSHOUSE OBJECTS AND THE HOUSING AND RESIDENTIAL HOME OBJECTS.(3) THE ALMSHOUSE OBJECTS ARE:(A) THE RELIEF OF BENEFICIARIES BY THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSES; AND(B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF BENEFICIARIES RESIDENT IN THE ALMSHOUSES AS THE TRUSTEE DECIDES.(4) THE HOUSING AND RESIDENTIAL HOME OBJECTS ARE:(A) THE RELIEF OF BENEFICIARIES BY THE PROVISION OF HOUSING AND ASSOCIATED AMENITIES UPON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR MEANS; (B) THE RELIEF OF BENEFICIARIES BY THE PROVISION OF A RESIDENTIAL HOME AND ASSOCIATED AMENITIES UPON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR MEANS.(5) THE TRUSTEE MAY, IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES, RELIEVE A PERSON WHO LIVES OUTSIDE THE AREA OF BENEFIT BUT IS OTHERWISE QUALIFIED AS A BENEFICIARY. THE TRUSTEE MUST RECORD IN THE RECORD OF ITS MEETINGS THE NATURE OF THE EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES JUSTIFYING THE APPOINTMENT. THE NUMBER OF PERSONS APPOINTED UNDER THIS SUB-CLAUSE MUST NOT EXCEED ONE-THIRD OF THE NUMBER OF RESIDENTS AT ANY ONE TIME. 3. the charity's objects (the objects) are i) the relief of persons in need who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, including but not limited to those with substance misuse problems by providing accommodation, services and advice so as to help increase the independence and decrease the marginalisation in society of such persons. ii) to undertake research into homelessness for the public benefit. the provision of a residential home for the relief of persons in necessitous circumstances with preference for such persons who are of scottish extraction or are members of st. columba's church, in pont street, london sw1, on terms appropriate to their means. to provide accommodation for persons over 60 years of age who are resident in the london boroughs of hammersmith and fulham, wandsworth and richmond upon thames and the royal boroughs of kensington and chelsea and kingston upon thames with a preference. provision and maintenance of almshouses for the benefit of the alms people who shall be poor persons of not less than 60 years, resident in the area of benefit, as constituted on the 9 june 1899, at the time of appointment, the trustees, if and insofar as beneficiaries cannot be found in the area of benefit as defined, may seek beneficiaries from that part of the london borough of richmond located to the south and east of the river thames. two almshouses to be occupied as residences by persons being peculiar or valvanistic baptists of good character and above the age of 60 years who have resided in the parish of teddington for at least 2 ears prior to the date of election and are not receiving, and have never received, parochial relief..
