the objects are:2.2.1 to further research for the public benefit into the causes and treatment of chronic diseases such as asthma, which reduce life expectancy and impair quality of life, and to publish the useful results of such research;2.2.2 to preserve and protect health, to reduce sickness and to advance education and training about healthcare to the disadvantaged in the community whether socially, economically or by virtue of age, sex, gender, race or religion;2.2.3 to develop the capacity and skills of the members of the socially and economically disadvantaged communities in yorkshire in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society;2.2.4 the relief of poverty, particularly in yorkshire or in areas affected by natural disasters;2.2.5 the advancement of education, arts and culture by supporting community based projects, specifically within yorkshire;2.2.6 the relief of suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster in the form of money (or other means deemed suitable) for persons, bodies, organisations and/or countries affected, including the provision of medical aid;2.2.7 the promotion for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment;2.2.8 such other charitable objects as the trustees shall deem appropriate from time to time.
