1 to provide assistance, therapies and relief to those people suffering from multiple sclerosis or other neurological conditions, including children over the age of 3 with cerebral palsy, autism or brain damage, primarily from the county of essex and neighbouring counties but also from elsewhere in the uk;2 to provide counselling, advocacy and advice to the families and carers of those people;3 to undertake research into multiple sclerosis including but not limited to its cause, cure and prevention and to publish the results of such research where applicable;4 to provide assistance, therapies and relief to any other person referred to the charity by a qualified medical practitioner as being likely to benefit from its services, and coming primarily from the county of essex and neighbouring counties but also from elsewhere in the uk
