3. the charity's objects (the objects) are(1) to assist people who are homeless and in housing need in the countyof shropshire.(2) to relieve poverty and protect or preserve the environment for thepublic benefit by ail the following means:(a) by helping to improve the quality of life of both individuals andfamilies who are in need of essential household equipment as identified to thecharity by statutory and voluntary agencies through collecting donatedfurniture and household equipment and storing and checking electricalappliances for safety before delivering to those in need.(b) by recycling, re-using, renovating and repairing household itemsthat would otherwise have to be disposed of as a landfill.(c) by providing opportunities for the unemployed, those with specialneeds and those on community service or similar orders to practise andacquire skills and gain confidence whilst contributing to the welfare of theirown communities.(d) to advance the education of the general public about theimportance of recycling, re-use and waste management and to progmufate thevalue of sustainable lifestyles.
